It isn’t in the books right now, but after the GTO is paid off in 2 years, the next vehicle I buy will be a Corvette C6 Z06. My love for this car comes from the Pratt & Miller C6.R GT1. The 7.0L monster sounded like the Devil skull fucking a demon in the most hardcore BDSM porn in the universe.

The Corvette racing has always sounded the best out on the track. As for teams I have a hard time choosing between Aston and Corvette, but just car to car the Vette will always be the one I lust after.

Now that even the C7s are getting really cheap, you can get a nice Z06 for relatively cheaply with few miles. I would either want one in yellow, blue, or orange in that order.

Like this yellow one for $28,995 with 73,316 miles

Or this blue one for $37,500 with 40,343 miles

or this orange one for $29,995 with 63,107 miles

I was clued in to a non-Z06 C6 for $15k. I only passed on it because the owner’s story sounded a bit shady.

My search for a proper low-mileage C5 Z06, however, is continuing.

I mean that doesn’t sound too far off tbh, but they are usually really rough for that price.

C5 Z06 is great too, but I could never understand the people that replace its glorious titanium exhaust

I’m right there with you on the sound. At the track, they sound fantastic. As much as I love how the Ford GT looks, it’s got nothin’ aurally on the C7R. I haven’t heard the C6R in person, I imagine it’s similar.

I strongly support this decision (more Corvettes on Oppo!), especially an orange example. You’re aware of the heads issue on the LS7 I presume? Other than that, these cars are very stout.

I’ve been casually searching for a LS3 C6 as a possible daily since they can be found in low to mid 20s, but I didn’t realize the early Z06es are now below 30. Might have to start looking at them too.
